I am one of the instigators of this sabbatical. Although I am not an avid sailor, years of canoe-tripping have taught me how to pack and provision for remote living, and I love life on the water. I am an adventurer through and through, looking forward to the challenges and unexpected encounters living aboard will provide. I am also a recovering “control freak” and hope to move forward in my understanding of how to “let go and let God” and in living contemplatively during this sabbatical.
